The HTML5 vs ActionScript

With the launch of the Apple iPad, a company based in Cupertino exclusion Adobe Flash technology has been at the forefront of debate. Even if the only thing to forget about Flash on devices, small furniture such as the iPhone or iPod Touch, some questions whether the lack of Flash support would make-it-or-break feature for new leaders coming next month - the 'device if you think that Apple CEO Steve Jobs - is "better than a netbook."
On the other hand, advocates of Apple's sentiments echoed by the company that "Flash is a CPU hog" and support for technology in the life of the battery of the phone line-up will negatively affect Apple.
However, recent test put the flash against HTML5, a new Web markup language that eliminates the need for Adobe plugin. These results demonstrate that this is not simple black and white issue. Flash is really hog the CPU? Yes, in some cases. But, surprisingly, not all the time. In fact, sometimes they hurt HTML5.
In analyzing the test results, Özer indicate that the key to a better flash performance depends on whether or not access to hardware acceleration. This feature, launched in Flash 10.1, allowing plugins for graphics processing units (GPU) on multiple computers to decode the video. Depending on the video card and drivers (NVIDIA, AMD / ATI and Intel that support it), the process of encoding video into Flash 10.1 hours can work for all video playback, not only the full-screen playback in Flash 10, 0.
According to Adobe, hardware acceleration is not supported by Linux or Mac OS X, the second since Mac OS X will not open access to the APIs needed. Adobe continues to say "Team Flash Player will continue to evaluate the addition of hardware acceleration for Linux and Mac OS X in a statement that will come."
That's what this means in simple terms, Apple does not efficiently Flash / Mac OS X Safari (or iPod / iPhone / an iPad, o) not to provide access to the hardware they need to reduce the load CPU. Adobe to wait and watch to see if they do, but as Özer said. "The ball is in Apple's"
Apple will move? At this point it is not possible. In block Flash on Apple devices, companies can easily argue that it is not just efficient technologies ... and this is now, seeing as it presents itself. But if companies want and allow this to work, it seems reasonable to assume that they can. This is what causes some people to believe that the decision to Flash technology less than a block, and more than a business-minded. After all, if you can easily go to Hulu.com to stream TV shows and movies, because you need to buy them on iTunes Store?
So while "monopolize CPU" Flash is a factor in the decision not to support Apple technology on mobile devices, is probably not the only reason behind the block.
